SHANGHAI, Jun. 26 (SMM) – Shanghai Metals Market sees a good chance for EMM prices in China to fall next week as supply glut might worsen.
Some EMM producers in Guangxi are planning to reopen in July, in anticipation of preferential power tariffs in the rainy season.
On the demand side, lower EMM prices have dampened buying interest. EMM prices fell to 10,750-10,850 yuan per tonne on June 26 from 10,850-10,950 yuan per tonne on June 23, SMM data showed.
